GPYO's Flute Ensemble continues!
Launched in cooperation with internationally renowned flutist Dr. Sarah Shin in Fall 2025, the ensemble will now be helmed by doctoral candidate Sarah Beaird. Open to flutists of all levels, this ensemble offers a welcoming and enriching environment for young musicians to strengthen their ensemble playing, develop their skills, and perform a diverse repertoire of flute music. While the group is inclusive, students are encouraged to already be taking private flute lessons to ensure a strong foundation. Whether you're just beginning your journey or have been playing for years, the Flute Ensemble provides a unique opportunity to make music, connect with fellow flutists, and be part of the vibrant GPYO community. Students who are already in GPYO’s Symphonic or Concert Orchestra are welcome to join without paying any additional tuition. (A small administrative fee will be charged.) All others are welcome to audition. Flute Ensemble will meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:45 - 7:15 pm. Placement is limited. Important Information
