​GPYO’s Summer Chamber Intensive is a focused, one-week musical experience for middle and high school musicians ready to deepen their ensemble skills and musical independence.

Students are placed in small chamber groups (trios, quartets, or quintets) and receive daily coaching from experienced faculty. Rehearsals emphasize communication, precision, and interpretation—teaching students how to listen, lead, and perform as a cohesive ensemble.
Each day combines sectionals, full ensemble rehearsals, and enrichment sessions, including masterclasses, music theory, and guest artist presentations. These sessions provide practical tools for both ensemble playing and individual musical growth.

The week culminates in masterclasses with a guest artist and a final celebration recognizing student achievement.
