Important things to be aware of before you register:
School music curriculum program participation:
GPYO requires all students who attends a school that offers a music curriculum program, to participate in one of the music curriculum program – orchestra, band or choir. The only exceptions to this are:
Saxophone players:
Saxophone is an option only for GPYO Chamber Wind Ensemble. Students who are accepted after an audition on Saxophone can join Preparatory Wind Ensemble but cannot move up to Concert or Symphonic Orchestra. Saxophone is not part of traditional orchestral instrumentation.
Payments and withdrawals:
Method of payments are credit cards and electronic checks. Paper checks are not accepted.
GPYO absorbs the registration fees and passes on only a percentage of the processing fees incurred by GPYO.
GPYO pays higher processing fees for credit cards than electronic checks.
Parents have the option to pay in full or pay in installments.
Our payment plan allows you to pay in three installments
Optional processing fees charged to the parents:
Credits and discounts
Sibling discounts: If siblings are registered at the same time, $25 credit for each student is automatically applied during the registration.
If two students check out in the cart together = $25 off of the second student registered
If three people check out in the cart together = $25 off of the second and third students registered.
If a sibling is registered later, you should obtain the referral credit code from the Interim Executive Director, Wendy Norris, to apply a $25 credit.
Financial aid:
Limited financial aid is available to families in need of financial assistance to pay the tuition. Email requests for the financial form should be sent to Interim Executive Director Wendy Norris by July 15. Financial aid for students requesting aid after the deadline will vary each year, depending on the amount available at that time. Parents who wish to apply for financial aid should do so as soon as possible. If aid is granted, you will receive a code to be applied during registration, or before the last installment of the payment plan.
