Wendy Norris

Wendy Norris is a proud GPYO alumna and an experienced nonprofit administrator. Past positions include serving as Associate Director of the Cultural Policy Center at the University of Chicago, where she co-authored studies on arts participation and music. She pursued advanced graduate studies in European cultural history at the University of Chicago, where she specialized in the relationship between politics, cultural identity and arts participation. She graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College, where she was awarded the Billings Prize for Music Performance. An avid choral singer and oboist, Wendy has studied with Martha Helms, Nelson Gore, Richard Killmer, Daniel Stolper, and Erica Anderson. She is principal oboist of the South Loop Symphony Orchestra, and additionally plays with Northwest Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonietta Bel Canto.

Teresa Lim
Rehearsal Manager attendance.gpyo@gmail.com Teresa Lim graduated cum laude from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Performance. She studied violin under Lenuta Ciulei Atanasiu (first prize winner of the International Violin Competition “Premio Paganini”) and Dr. Elena Chernova-Davis (first prize winner of the Aleksander Glazunov International Competition, Paris). Ms. Lim has performed with Rutgers ensembles of Sinfonia, Symphony Orchestra, and Baroque Players. Ms. Lim currently performs with Sinfonietta Nova under Gail Hsiu-Wen Lee and teaches elementary strings in the West-Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District. |
Susan Meuse
Concert Manager gpyorecruitment@gmail.com Susan Meuse is in her fourteenth year as an orchestra teacher in New Jersey. She currently teaches at Hammarskjold Middle School in East Brunswick. She has also taught in her hometown of Cherry Hill as well as the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District. Susan received her BM in Education from Ithaca College and her MM in Education from Rutgers University. As a cellist, Susan performs regularly with the City Winds Trio and the Freelance Ensemble Artists of NJ. An active member of NJMEA, Susan is currently serving as the Orchestra Procedures and Performance Chairs. Susan has twice conducted ensembles for the CJMEA Elementary Honors Orchestra. She also conducted the CJMEA Intermediate String Orchestra in 2013 and the All South Jersey Junior High String Ensemble in 2014. |
